A gripping story from start to finish. Easy to feel the pain of both brothers. Easy to know that their bond was tested but never broken. Wish there had been a bit more 'Mom' in the book, her struggles to understand and help her boys become men. But a very thought provoking story nonetheless. Some chapters were hard to read, as it is always difficult to reconcile that one you have admired had human failings, no matter the reason. Joey did have serious obstacles from birth that he overcame with his own grit and willpower along with a great deal of support from his mother, brother and others who loved him. This purchase was well worth the money. I do wish the included photos were of better quality, the wording on them was somewhat hard to read.
